We had picture-perfect weather but a relatively light turnout for April's Third Thursday. Nevertheless, Carlos Forte brought his camera and snapped a few pictures. Now with daylight saving time in effect he got some good daylight shots. Mike Porter wowed everyone with his 1932 Morgan Replica. Mike just returned from the Georgia mountains with it (yes he drove it there and back). Sorry we didn't get a picture of it but here is a shot of it from the DI show last week. Randall Baughman rode his Yamaha RD350. Robert Hall also did the 2-cycle thing with his Kaw H1 pictured above. To round out the 2-stroke club Carlos Forte fired up his Bridgestone 175. Tomas Krieg rode Jim Downey's Sears 124. Although it kind of looks like a 2-stroke motor it is actually an OHV 4 stroke. Jim Downey rode his 1950 Sunbeam. Jim Arrington showed up with his new stainless steel knee. One month after surgery and he is getting around on crutches just fine. Other MBVMC members spotted included Danny Weemes (wimped out and rode his Bandit), Fletch Bowling on his Honda 400, Joe McDonald on his Electraglide, and Bill Connell on his Ridley. The nitro-fur machine showed up but we did not get the owners name. Check out the wheelie wheels on the back of his seat. Yipeee!
