4th Annual Open Charity Car Show

On March 5th, 2005 the Christ United Methodist Church on Grelot Road (Mobile, AL) was the site of 4th Annual Open Charity Car Show.  Some of the MBVMC members participated including Jim Downey, Mike Thomason (newly-restored Jawa 350), Keith Campbell (Goldwing 1200 and Pacific Coast) and Joe Green (57 Cushman Eagle).  Jim Downey won third place with his 57 Triumph Thunderbird.  First and second went to a couple of show-quality choppers. Unfortunately there was only one bike class but next year they promise that they will try to have several bike classes to separate the vintage from the modern stuff. There were of course some outstanding cars and I snapped a few pictures of them as well.  My favorite was a beautifully restored MG TF.  The pictures in the gallery are listed by a descriptive name.  Just click on a file name to see the picture.
