A Motorcycle Museum in Mobile

The Motorcycle exhibit opened in the Museum of Mobile on June 15th 2004 and it was first class.  Dick Daley with Designs Through Time has assembled a beautiful collection of Vintage and contemporary motorcycles to show the best of European, American and Japanese mounts. Best of all these bikes are all from the Mobile Bay area and are largely owned by our club members.  As museum exhibits go this collection is exceptional because virtually all of the bikes are show quality and expertly restored.  This is a real credit to our club members.  I counted 25 motorcycles on display which nicely filled the exhibit hall.  In addition to the bikes there were interesting videos and posters depicting motorcycling in bygone years.  The show ran through Sept 6th 2004.  Some selected pictures from the exhibit hall can be seen below.
