My name is Maurice Turgeau and over the following year I hope to share some great stories from Mobile's Motorcycling Past. I'll be interviewing some of the characters who have helped shape our great local vintage bike scene. I'll be including some old photographs that will be sure to spark a few great memories. I'll also be asking for our members input of anything of interest regarding this topic and I would love to see some of your old pictures too. These articles along with other contemporary features will be added to this page as I write them so stay tuned

We have a great group of members who have accomplished a lot this past year, recession be damned . We have seen quite a few great restorations completed , Mike Porter's gorgeous Indian for one. We've had members and Bike Show participants competing and winning at numerous events from  WERA racing all the way to the Bonneville Salt Flats. And I've seen more than a few new bikes at Bike Night , so some of us are beating the economic curve.  I plan to be MBVMC's roving reporter on everything motorcycle.  Here's to a great new motorcycling year!  You can follow my activities on our Facebook page by clicking here .
