The 2004 Dauphin Island Show

A month-long drought provided the best weather yet for the show. The skies were sunny and temps in the low seventies. Eight years now without a rain out!  The School PTO helpers were there with an outstanding food wagon serving plety of hot dogs and burgers. We had 73 entries which beats last year's record by 1. We gave all 3 trophies away in every class except competition.  We saw lots of new bikes this year. As usual there were lots of new bikes this year as well as many familiar ones. After all the smoke cleared the PTO says they made better than $1500 for the Dauphin Island School. We want to give special thanks to Paula Goblowsky and Mary McGraw from Dauphin Island PTO who provided so much help with the show. Below is a table of the winners. We were not able to identify all of the bikes from the photos we snapped so if you find a picture in the photo gallery that corresponds to one of our winners or if we have miss-labeled a bike please let us know and we will fix it. We are sorry but we did not get pictures of all of the bikes. If you have a missing picture, send it and we will include it.
